How we work in this sector

Security in an education environment requires a different approach to industrial or commercial settings. Our officers working in schools, colleges and universities are selected for their communication skills as much as their security training — able to engage positively with students, manage difficult situations calmly and support staff without creating an institutional or intimidating atmosphere. We understand safeguarding requirements and the particular sensitivities of working in environments with young people and vulnerable adults.

We work closely with site managers, business managers and facilities teams in education to ensure security arrangements are always aligned with term dates, timetables and event schedules. Named account managers provide a consistent point of contact throughout the contract.
