Security in Rotherham — what we know
Rotherham is central to South Yorkshire’s advanced-manufacturing economy, including the Advanced Manufacturing Park and the wider Sheffield–Rotherham innovation district. These environments can involve valuable equipment, technical work, controlled areas, contractors and complex delivery movements. Manufacturing and industrial premises may therefore need robust access and visitor controls, perimeter visibility, gatehouse or guarding duties and clear alarm escalation. Commercial and public-sector sites elsewhere in the borough may require a different balance of CCTV, keyholding and targeted personnel.
