Key Responsibilities

As a Security Officer, you'll be responsible for:

• Conducting regular patrols to ensure the safety of premises and personnel.
• Monitoring surveillance systems and reporting suspicious activities.
• Managing access control to guarantee only authorized personnel enter secure areas.
• Responding promptly to alarms and emergencies, offering assistance as required.
• Preparing detailed reports on incidents and daily activities.
• Collaborating with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Providing excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Essential Requirements

• Valid SIA Security Guard licence
• Clean DBS check
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a security role
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure

Desirable Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role within a regional security provider
• First Aid certification
• Conflict resolution training or experience
• Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to security practices
• Customer service experience
• Team player with the ability to work independently when required
