Key Responsibilities
As a Security Officer, you'll be responsible for:
- Conducting regular patrols to ensure the safety of premises and personnel.
- Monitoring surveillance systems and reporting suspicious activities.
- Managing access control to guarantee only authorized personnel enter secure areas.
- Responding promptly to alarms and emergencies, offering assistance as required.
- Preparing detailed reports on incidents and daily activities.
- Collaborating with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Providing excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Requirements
Essential Requirements
- Valid SIA Security Guard licence
- Clean DBS check
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a security role
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role within a regional security provider
- First Aid certification
- Conflict resolution training or experience
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to security practices
- Customer service experience
- Team player with the ability to work independently when required
