We are looking for a reliable and professional Security Support Officer to join our team at a key customer site in Standlake, Oxford. As a family-run business established in 1992, we pride ourselves on being the security specialists for Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, and beyond. This is a permanent, part-time position that offers the stability of working with an experienced, local team. You will be provided with full site-specific training, a company uniform, and all the safety equipment you need to do the job well.

What You'll Be Doing

You will play a vital role in maintaining site security and providing a helpful, professional presence. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Managing site access and egress.
  • Conducting regular internal and external security patrols.
  • Verifying identification for visitors and contractors.
  • Monitoring deliveries entering and leaving the site.
  • Responding promptly and professionally to alarms or incidents.
  • Maintaining accurate logs and incident reports.
  • Communicating clearly with your colleagues and management.
  • Providing high-quality customer service to everyone on site.

Working Pattern

This is a permanent part-time role based on a rotating shift pattern. You will be required to work across a seven-day operation, covering both day and evening shifts.

What We Need From You

To be successful in this role, you’ll need a practical, professional approach and the ability to work well as part of a team.

  • Licensing: A valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence is essential.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the security industry is required.
  • Vetting: You must be able to provide a full five-year employment history and undergo an enhanced DBS check.
  • Reliability: You must have your own transport to reach the site in Standlake, including at short notice.
  • Documentation: You must have the right to work in the UK.

While not required, experience in customer service or working on commercial/industrial sites is a bonus.

The Role
