About the Role
We are seeking a reliable Full-Time Construction Site Security Officer to join our team for a construction site in Hull (HU9 1BP). This position operates Monday to Friday, with shifts scheduled based on site needs.
In this role, you will work closely with site management to ensure a secure and organized construction environment. We are looking for an experienced security officer who engages well with contractors, visitors, and staff while maintaining a professional security presence.
Key Responsibilities
As a Construction Site Security Officer, your duties will include:
- Collaborating with site management and contractors to maintain security protocols
- Managing access and egress for the construction site
- Signing in and out visitors, contractors, and deliveries
- Monitoring vehicle and pedestrian activity to ensure safety
- Supporting health and safety procedures on site
- Conducting regular internal and external patrols
- Inspecting site boundaries, gates, fencing, and access points
- Reporting suspicious activities, hazards, or incidents
- Completing daily logs, handovers, and incident reports
- Maintaining a secure and safe working environment
- Providing a visible and professional security presence throughout your shift

Requirements
- Valid SIA Security Guard license
- First Aid qualification
- Minimum five years of employment history
- Completion of site-specific training
- Right to work in the UK
- Excellent communication skills

- Prior experience in construction site security
- Flexibility regarding working hours
- Willingness to complete DBS clearance
- Strong reliability and integrity
