Rapid deployment CCTV is a temporary or semi-permanent CCTV solution that can be installed quickly to help protect sites, compounds, vacant buildings, construction areas and other locations where fixed security may not yet be in place. ### How quickly can SPS install a rapid deployment CCTV system? Timescales depend on the site, equipment availability and survey requirements, but SPS can assess urgent requirements quickly and recommend a suitable temporary CCTV solution for the location. ### Can rapid deployment CCTV be monitored remotely? Yes. Rapid deployment CCTV can be connected to remote monitoring arrangements so that activations can be reviewed and escalated through agreed procedures. ### What types of sites use rapid deployment CCTV? It is commonly used for construction sites, vacant properties, compounds, car parks, commercial premises, temporary works areas and sites affected by trespass, theft or anti-social behaviour. ### Can rapid deployment CCTV reduce the need for a permanent security guard? Units can be repositioned as risk areas move during the hire period. ### What happens if the system detects suspicious activity out of hours? When an incident is detected, the live feed can be reviewed by remote monitoring operators who verify activity, issue an audio challenge where appropriate, and escalate to agreed contacts, mobile patrols or alarm/keyholding response if required.
