This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities across various client sites in the local area, including: - Shopping centres - Gatehouse security - Commercial premises - Industrial sites - Mobile patrol duties You will enjoy this position if you prefer variety in your work and are confident in providing a professional, customer-focused security presence. ## Key Responsibilities As a Security Officer, your duties will include: - Ensuring a visible and professional security presence across assigned sites - Managing gatehouse tasks, including visitor control and vehicle access - Providing customer-facing security at retail and shopping centre locations - Conducting internal and external patrols - Monitoring CCTV systems as required - Responding to incidents, alarms, and site issues according to assignment instructions - Completing accurate reports, handovers, and incident logs - Supporting site teams with coverage and operational requirements - Performing mobile patrol duties when necessary - Protecting people, property, and client premises to a high standard ## Requirements - Valid SIA Security Guard license - Full UK driving licence and own transport - Flexible availability for unsociable hours - Five-year employment history with no gaps - Right to work in the UK - Strong communication skills - Willingness to undergo DBS clearance ## Desirable - Previous experience in security roles - Familiarity with site-specific training requirements - Positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration - Commitment to reliability and integrity in the workplace ## Why join SPS Security? - **Job Stability with a Trusted Employer** Joining SPS Security means becoming part of a family-run business with over 30 years of experience in the security industry.
